On Friday, March 26, Anderson's Bookshop is providing a virtual author visit with authors Lauren Tarshis and Megan Wagner Lloyd and illustrator Michelle Mee Nutter for our 3-5 grade students. Lauren Tarshis is known for her I Survived series of historical fiction novels which are now being transformed into Graphic Novels as well. Megan Wagner Lloyd and Michelle Mee Nutter partnered on their new Graphic Novel Allergic. Students will hear about the careers of the authors and illustrator, learn about their writing/illustrating process as well as about their new books.
If you would like to purchase an autographed copy of any of the I Survived graphic novels or Allergic, you can do so through the Anderson's Book Fair Website. The link for ordering will be located in the 5CK homeroom Google classroom Books will be delivered to May Watts and can be hand delivered to in-person students, or Ms. Happy will email you when your order has arrived and is ready for pick up, if your child is a remote learner. Alternatively, you can have it shipped to your home for a fee or picked up at an Anderson's location for free. See the attached flyer for additional information. Because the visit is right before Spring Break, students will not receive their books until after the break.
